Making Jesus Accessible

Global Digital Strategies

As we return to some kind of new normal, my team (Tabo) was able to meet in person in Orlando at Cru's Global Headquarters. I have the privilege to serve with these amazing leaders that serve in different locations around the world by making Jesus accessible to many audiences.

But what does this team do? Let me share a brief testimony as one example.

Rebeca, a staff member with Cru Chile, met Yosabeth through the
Mentor Center hosted by Power 2 Change (Cru in Canada). Yosabeth is a medical student in Mexico who connected with the Mentor Center site via an article on depression. Corresponding with Yosabeth, Rebeca learned that Yosabeth was going through a difficult time, doubting her relationship with God and her calling. "It was there," Rebeca said, "that I felt from the Holy Spirit the need to talk to her on a video call."

Yosabeth accepted, and the two women met and continued to meet. "Yosabeth has grown a lot in these months," Rebeca said. "She has a teachable heart and is motivated to grow for the glory of God. She recently had her first spiritual conversation with a classmate to share about Christ. This motivates me to continue investing time in the Mentor Center, on the different social platforms, and even more in her, knowing that with God, we can overcome any obstacle that arises."

Please let us know if you would like to get involved in helping other people in their journey to know more about God.

The Mentor Ministry
Every month, this strategy sparks hundreds of spiritual conversations, leading to over 10,000 messages back and forth with our mentors. Our mentors help people feel loved and heard. And most importantly, as online missionaries, they point the way to Jesus.

Rebeca is part of our young married couples community. Becky and Gustavo are from Venezuela but serve in Chile with Digital Strategies.
